As Seen In The Boston Globe…

I was recently quoted in the Boston Globe Magazine’s Annual Real Estate issue.  The piece, called The price chopper featured the tactics that buyers are using to try to renegotiate price after the home inspection. All real estate is local and the highlighted section is my experience with our area North of Boston. Of course, a 45 minute interview resulted in one quote! I won’t bore you with all the details, but if you’d like to know more on how our local market is fairing for sellers, give me a call.

Click on the link below to read the article and see my highlighted quote!

Suitcase Drive was a Total Success!

THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for your donations! Our car(s) were overloaded with suitcases and duffel bags (some of them brand new!!) for foster kids.  I know our son doesn’t look thrilled about having to take this photo, but he’ll thank us one day… right?

For more information on how to donate — there is still time, please contact me at 781.479.4066.

Suitcase Drive For Kids in Foster Care

WHO: A local organization is trying to collect  5,500 suitecases for foster children. I am making it my personal mission this week to collect at least 50 suitcases to help them out and more importantly help the kids.

WHAT: More often than not foster kids pack their belongings in trash bags, Suitcases4kids made it their mission ” that every foster child in the state has at least one suitcase , so that when they are moving to a new home, they can pack their belonging with dignity.”  New or gently used suitcases, duffel bags, or oversized backpacks are appreciated.

WHERE: Medford City Hall.  You can also drop them off with me or I will come pick the suitcase(s)/bag(s) up and drop them off for you.

WHEN: Medford City Hall (January 16th 10:30-2:30) or if droping off with me please have them at my house or office (653 Main Street, Melrose) by Friday January 15th by 3pm.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information about this drive, KristyBonaventura@remax.net or 781-479-4066
